Five weeks and counting!!!

Five weeks left. Foxy is finally slowing down. . . a little. She is so sad looking when she is out in the arena and she sees the kids and mutt out on the trail, leaving her behind. She really wants out on the trail. Belle is doing great on the EPSM diet. She has so much energy and is in a feisty mood most of the time. She doesn't trash her stall nearly as much as she used to.

  2. The bad thing about blogs, is that you never know if someone is being sarcastic.

  3. Okay, it is me so you score on that one.And no, this time I wasn't. It is an exciting time; Why? Because you get to witness the miracle of birth and you don't happen to be the one who's actually doing it. Mucho rapido recovery time...YAY!

  4. True, so true. She does not like recovery time. She is wanting to be ridden so badly. Any one that thinks that horses don't like their job is an idiot. Foxy loves to be ridden. She is so mad that the kids won't ride her. Everyday that she goes outside and the kids are on the trail, she is so upset. I am just too paranoid to saddle her and she is too fired up to put a kid on bareback. She'll dump them just by bouncing. I will be really glad when she gets her foaling stall next week. If I figure out what I did with the memory card for my camera, I will take pics. Since we are heading into Fort Collins this weekend, I might break down and buy a new one:)
